It all started back in 1975. A mad scientist named Jim Jannard began seeking out problems, finding solutions and wrapping those solutions in art. Jannard decided the only way to defy the limits of possibility was to start from scratch. Doing so would require dedication to purpose beyond reason. That was the beginning of a company called Oakley. Oakley makes products the same way its designers approach life: by challenging rules, because it takes a bit of lawlessness to unleash creativity.
